Our Mission

Mora Mainstreet Arts & Cultural Compound is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to revitalizing the historic heart of Mora, supporting the creative economy, and promoting community and civic pride.

Your Donation Supports

• Historic Preservation: We are working with New Mexico Mainstreet revitalizing specialists to identify and preserve historic properties and homes, including restoration of the Arts & Cultural Compound.

• Community Murals: Creating vibrant public art that celebrates Mora’s rich cultural heritage and brings beauty to our Mainstreet.

• Community Events: Hosting the annual signature event “Mora Fall Fest” on the last Saturday in September, youth programs in collaboration with Rio Mora and the Coyote Creek State Park, and cultural activities that strengthen our community bonds.

• Business Revitalization: Supporting local businesses and beautification projects on Mainstreet and the Arts & Cultural Compound.
